Telemetry3D 2.0

It has been a long time since our last blog post and for good reason! The Telemetry3D workshop has been working hard for our clients night and day. We are pleased to announce that the result of this hard work is directly translating into new capabilities for our business.

In December 2016 we acquired a Form2 ; a UV laser resin SLA printer. This machine is absolutely incredible in terms of the detail and complexity of models it can create. There are a variety of materials available for it; from the standard resins; to simulated ABS, polypropylene, flexible resins, high temperature resins, castable resins, Dental resins, and even ceramic resins.

Because it uses a laser to cure a liquid the XY resolution is limited only by the point size of the laser. The Form2 can print down to 25micron layers; but for our applications we usually stick with 100micron or 50micron for extreme detail.

While we can't show you images of most of our clients models (due to NDA's) we have finally had some down time on the Form2 to produce some models for ourselves. We have been enjoying printing from the MyMiniFactory: Scan the World Collection.

Due to increased demand from our clients we ended up having to acquire a total of four Form2 3D printers. We plan to leverage our redundant manufacturing capacity to offer the fastest, lowest priced; SLA printing service . It sounds ambitious; but shouldn't all ambitions be ambitious?

Over the next few days we will be releasing SLA printed + painted versions of the SkullWars and BoneHeads series by 3DKitBash on our Etsy Store!
