The story of Telemetry3D begins in 2008 when the RepRap movement began building steam. We watched and followed along as the open source movement made advancements in leaps and bounds to create affordable desktop 3D printing. As the technology matured and the quality and consistency of the printer designs improved, the possibilities of redundant distributed manufacturing became clear to us. We built our first printer and founded Telemetry3D in 2014. Since then we have grown organically with demand, and we now command a fleet of nine highly reliable FFF 3D printers and one SLA printer with extreme detail accuracy.
We believe that we offer high quality prototyping and small production run services that cost less and are turned around more quickly than our competition. Our strategy is simple; we provide fast, high quality services by leveraging many identical printers that we've built in-house. This allows us to keep downtime absolutely minimal. We know every single nut and bolt in every machine, we keep spares of parts that commonly breakdown in stock, and we perform our maintenance in-house. We continually re-invest to increase our capacity and services to meet the growing needs of our clients and community.
